PS: Thanks Nana for rescuing us by taking Joshua to Jackson so we could work the rest of the week.

Joshua has been sick for the past several days. Despite having the wonderful, cure-all tubes in his ears, he was diagnosed with an ear infection this weekend. He has not felt good and has not been up to having his picture taken, so here are some pictures from the last couple weeks I haven't posted yet.
but he is always willing to share a pretzel with dad.

Just one block at a time
We went to Jackson this past weekend for Chad's graduation celebration. We are very proud of Chad and we are almost as impressed with Abigail's collection of bracelets...pictured below.

All part of growing up
The principal at Joshua's school sent home an "incident" note today. "Incident" is the baby daycare way of saying "fight." Based on the note, I tried to piece together what happened by questioning Joshua, but he was not very forthcoming.
(Please note, Joshua was the only baby harmed in the incident.)
Based on today's incident, maybe Joshua thinks he needs to add some martial arts training. This maybe his first step in that direction.
We call this video "Balancing Act"

A day behind
It has been a busy week.
This morning while driving to see a patient I realized it was Thursday and I had missed our usual Wednesday posting.
Oops.
So, to our dear dedicated readers,
thanks for your patience.
Please note the spoon in the "clean" hand and the amount of yogurt on Joshua's hand and mouth. I don't know how much he actually got in his mouth but he certainly had fun.
We went to Birmingham last weekend for our "mission project" to help Beth fix a few things around her house. Joshua and I didn't do much work at all, we left that to Dave and some friends, but we had a great time.
Joshua loves to dance. I don't remember what (if any) music was playing at the time he sure looks to be feeling the beat.
