Anna Ruth has been talking much more lately.
We understand a very small percentage of what she is saying but love to hear her jabber.
Here is a small sampling of what she is saying: "mama", "dad", "baby", "milk", "rock", "eat", "NO!", "thank you", "bless you", "excuse you", "love you", "apple", "hot", "water", "I want", "play", "book", "go", "bye", "hello", "Elmo", "cookie", "lovie", "shoes", "socks", "hat".
Anna Ruth's first sentence was, "Dada tee tee."
(We are so proud!)
She loves a little boy named Will in her class and talks about him all the time.
Most days in the car she says something like this,
"Mama, hilndry bijat nuntrinld gagaga Will. Tedil roppin steg Will. Mitsis agets Will."
"Mama, hilndry bijat nuntrinld gagaga Will. Tedil roppin steg Will. Mitsis agets Will."
She is already perfecting the art of taking a selfie. |
The work of a 1.5 year old never ends! |
The other day while I was getting her dressed I had the following conversation with Anna Ruth:
Me: "Anna Ruth, can you say, 'I love Mama?'"
AR: "No!"
Me: "Can you say, 'I love Dad?'"
AR: "No!"
Me: "Well, can you say, 'I love Joshua?'"
AR: "No! I love Elmo!"
Whoever she loves...we certainly love her!
