Tin Caps capture 6yr old coach pitch championship

Joshua loves to play sports.
The sport of choice, at the moment, is baseball.
Joshua played on the Drayer PT Institute Tin Caps this season.
He had a good team...great coaches and fun teammates.
And Joshua's team won all of their games but 1.
He loves baseball.

Coach helped him with some batting practice last time we were in Jackson.

Joshua is something serious in the field. He loves playing infield.
He is playing 3rd base in this picture, although he rotated between 3rd, catcher, center field and right field.

Because we had crazy weather this spring several of the Tin Caps' games were rained out. So a league tournament was scheduled to allow the kids to play a few more games.
Joshua's team enter the tourney as the #1 seed.
They played a good game last Tuesday night and won, putting them in the championship game.
In the championship game, Joshua's team played a tough Zaxby's team.
Joshua made the 2nd out of the last inning at 2nd base. (I'm not even sure he realized what happened but ended up with the ball at the right time and step on 2nd.)
The Tin Caps proved too much for the Zaxby's team and won in dramatic fashion.
So they finished the season as regular season champs and tournament champs.

Each player got their picture made with the tournament trophy.

They asked Coach Kane if they could dog pile him after the game.
How could he say "no"?

We're #1!

Joshua can't wait for next baseball season.  But he has already asked if he can play soccer and basketball first.
